Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialisation and foster innovation

Travel by foot, bike or public transport to work and/or tell people how to travel by foot, bike or public transport to their work.

I remember in primary school we used to have these national ‘walk to school weeks’ and I used to love that shit. You’d have to tell your teacher in front of the whole class how you got to school and if you walked you got like a really cool sticker and everyone knows you’re the shit if you had like 5 stickers by the end of the week. Why the fuck does anyone still drive petrol and diesel vehicles around Birmingham? I mean yes on a night out when the trains and buses have stopped running I understand the cheeky Uber home, but why do you see musicians popping in and out of taxis on their way to gigs? I get it if you’re a double bass player, a percussionist with shit loads of kit, or a harpist but everyone else could be walking and taking in that sweet clean Birmingham air, catching a cheeky bus into the city centre (you’re almost guaranteed to make a friend along the way), hopping on the new tram line or even brushing off the dust from your bike and cycling (be warned… cycling around Birmingham is not for the faint-hearted).
