We’ve all seen brassers emptying their spit valves in rehearsals, maybe it was to avoid being told off for missing their cue, or for being too loud when they come in, either way it’s natural and I think they enjoy doing it. But just think about it for a second, is it actually spit, or is it just condensed water from their breath that’s been filtered through their instruments in a similar way that whiskey is distilled in, well a distillery. You might be sat there, a disgusted expression painted on your face as you watch your mate blowing water out of their horn, but it’s literally just water. Save the planet, collect that shit up in a glass and fucking drink it, fucking sell it, throw all caution to the wind and slurp it straight from the valve for that fresh forbidden juice. Whatever you choose to do with it don’t just leave it on the floor.
