Life on land

Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.

Promote growth by performing for and/or talking to your plants.

My friend Helena is the perfect plant mom. She has the aesthetic, most of the time she remembers to water them and most importantly, she can chat absolute shit for ages. This is apparently a really crucial skill in being a plant mom as talking and even performing to your plants, or anyone’s plants I guess, can encourage growth. Helena loves to spam our groupchats with voice notes, rather than type what she wants to say or call us, she’ll happily sit there and record her thoughts as they come and go. I thought it would be a great idea to channel this communication into helping her be the best plant mom she can be because I care about the environment and not at all because I’m a bad friend. The cute music she’s performing comes from Mort Garson’s album ‘Plantasia’ and whilst it seems like the sort of music you’d hear on a game like Animal Crossing, it was actually given out for free when you bought a mattress from Sears and also at the Mother Earth Plant Boutique in Los Angeles.
