Peace, justice and strong institutions

Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.

Make art about peace from a piece of art about war.

Ok, let’s talk about war and music. My biological father served in the gulf war. I don’t really know much about his experience, he never liked to talk about it but he was always really fond of war documentaries. You know the serious shit they stream relentlessly on the History channel about the Nazis. The music is always really crap and feels like it is trying too hard but the producers spent too much of the budget on dramatisations and graphics about which way armies moved etc. The music is always so robotic and hit all the classic war doc tropes and just feels so unhuman. I feel a lot of Romantic music about war was always really unhuman too, always so exaggerated, fanatical and apparently oblivious to the fact that these wars killed people. These wars still kill people. Fuck the pomp and circumstance, fuck the fanatical overtures and stop fucking glorifying this shit.
